Trullo Candle Holder Rose-Burgundy

Ceramic candle holder featuring the silhouette of the typical Apulian trullo. Sold with the blotch rose candle. 

The “Trullo”, an iconic agricultural shelter, inspired a ceramic artifact entirely handmade in Italy based on a design by Carola and decorated by reinterpreting the traditional Apulian “macchiato” technique in new and unprecedented color combinations.

It is from the apparent randomness of the artisan brushstroke, which instead embodies a powerful artistic gesture, that the olfactory objects of Carola fra i Trulli are born, an evocative mix and match of scents, essences and colors of the Apulian countryside.

Conceived using only natural materials, the candle is in soy wax with a glass container and cotton wick, scented with the essence of Blotch Rose. Ode to the wild rose which, with its gentle strength, climbs and thrives on the dry stone walls, the olive trees and the arid myrtle bushes of the Mediterranean scrub. The green and aromatic scent of the leaves joins the flowery and delicate notes of its petals to culminate with the dry and enveloping scent of scrub wood. 

The product is accompanied by its box in recycled cardboard and raw linen. A conscious and sustainable design choice, respectful of the strong link between craftsmanship and territory.

Due to the artisan origin of the product, any irregularities are considered a sign of authenticity and not a defect.
