PiattoUnico born from the passion and talent of Emanuela Sala, an interior architect who has always been animated by the curiosity and desire to experiment new projects. The solid background and the fervent creativity are the ingredients that led Emanuela towards the product design field with the launch, in 2016, of PiattoUnico. A collection of ceramics that stand out for their uniqueness and exclusivity. The project is conceived and designed in Milan and the production involves the best artisan workshop scattered on the Italian territory.

On Debou we present the Dreams and Excluded Mammals collections, ceramic plates decorated with retro-inspired collages, reinterpreted in a contemporary way.

What inspires you?
The variety and richness of the production of end-of-the-nineteenth and early twentieth-century ceramics. That period were characterized by an extreme care in production and a fine selection of the pieces and the results were one-of-a-kind products reflecting the identity of homes and families.

Your style in three words.
Retro-modern, a trend word we use today for better explain the style that takes inspiration from the last century, but with a contemporary taste.

Clean: not necessarily minimal, but I want my pieces not to tire even if used every day and last over time.

Eclectic: each collection starts from a starting point and takes different directions.
