PRODUCT DESIGNER
Manuela Bucci
SOFT SHELTER FOR ANYTIME
Connecting human habits with technologies has always been the focus of Manuela Bucci's work. Her artistic soul and poetic-pragmatic vision lead her to focus on a balance between technique, innovation, purpose, emotion and personality, a creative process that connects reality and imagination.
Founder of Studio Bucci Milano, Manuela develops her own design items while also provides business and communication solutions to companies. “I always want to discover new meanings for the technological innovations, and my role is to create different visions through projects and prototypes”, she says.
After graduating in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano in 2000, Manuela has worked for the designers Cini Boeri, Aldo Cibic and Makio Hasuike. The first contact with design and electronics happened during her passage to the studio Zagato Carrozzerie.
Later, while working as a Design Consultant at Indesit for Hotpoint and Ariston, she created the international design team, a collaboration that continues until today at Candy and Hoover, other brands of the group.
Her portfolio contains works of integral design, trend analysis, corporate identity and photography for Scholtes, eNovia, K8 Radiatori, Salice Paolo/Ento Maniglie, Babasucco, Bertazzoni and Stiga.
Piüma is her first collaboration with Divina Divani, and it is composed by Papillon, a collection of fun and interesting multipurpose armchairs.
On Debou we present the three collections Papillon: Triangle, Bicolor, Striped.
