Daniele Cima has been working as an art director and creative director for over twenty years for advertising agencies in the leading worldwide networks, becoming one of the most regarded and admired Italian creatives. Since 2000, he has been working solo in Milan, in his workshop Officima Communication Arts, where he flanks purely artistic activities with his work as art director and graphic designer for image-driven companies.

His works, acknowledged by various awards and recognitions all over the world, are collected in the volumes Daniele Cima. Coming Out (2021), My war versus the obvious (2020), Altri modi di vedere un rettangolo (Other ways of seeing a rectangle) (1999), Cento modi di vedere un rettangolo (One hundred ways of seeing a rectangle) (1995).

His art pieces have been shown in Città della Pieve, Genève (Galerie Rivoli), London (Polystic Children Foundation), Milan (Triennale, Cascina Cuccagna, Spazio Mari&cò, Studio Bolzani), Rome (Galleria La Nuvola), Todi.
