Description
The decoration in leather strips is a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic Scottish fabric. This small coffee table is ideal as decorative design furniture or as side table for the living room.
The telàio coffee table are part of a project based on reconsideration of the arts of embroidery and weaving through contemporary shapes and materials.
The idea is to apply the decoration not to fabric, but to a rigid openwork metal base and replace the threads with leather strips. This way, the end result is macro horizontal, vertical and diagonal stitches, used to create evocative patterns and to reinterpret them in a contemporary and personal way.
