The Fatherland stool are made directly from a tree trunk, carved by hand and treated with the ancient Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban, the art of preserving wood using fire. This procedure, ecological and completely natural, protects the wood by making the surface waterproof and so ideal for the outdoor.

It is a slow and meticulous work that transforms the object and gives it a more vivacious, fascinating and mysterious look, while preserves its ancient nature.
