Célestine by Zoé

Zoé Célestine Van Reeth is a Belgian designer currently based in Rome. From her first studies in Architecture at the Faculty of Brussels, continuing her education with a degree with honours in the course of Industrial Design at European Institute of Design, Zoé concluded her training at the Goldsmith Academy in Rome to learn the traditional Italian techniques of working with precious metals. From 2013 she has been experimenting organic shapes, different techniques and combinations of textures delivering high quality and fascinating jewellery.

A short description of your collection.

For this F/W season I developed two new collections : the Winter Marine, inspired by mysterious oceans during the winter time, mixing up organic shapes and different textures ; the Skin Collection, a combination of different materials and texture, the finest Italian leather together with the nordic design.

What inspires you?

The inspiration comes years ago, across Belgium and Rome, when I started to experiment prototypes. The strong influence of my architectural background together with passion for nature, guided me toward the launch of this project.

Minimal, feminine, multicultural.

The Italian sensibility combined with the Belgian approach.

Which object do you wish to design?

My dream is a jewellery made of white and thin pottery , mixed up with matt and bright finish.
