Morena Scrascia, an urban planner and architect, born in the South of Italy, after studied and travelled abroad, decided to come back to her homeland, close to Lecce-Puglia, for opening her own professional studio and starting a creative path of fashion and home accessories.
So, by chance, the brand Fuscra took life. A collection of wooden fashion accessories born just from the Morena’s passion for nature and her desire to transform products and create a story. “Things have a soul just like places and people”, as Morena says.

A short description of your collection.

Fuscra is an eco-friendly brand of bag and fashion accessories, coming from the passion for natural materials, such as wood and cotton, by were born the first two Fuscra collections, Aztec and Sophia. Fuscra products featuring a contemporary style and a unique story: the story of a wooden essence and a new production process that reinterprets the fashion accessories in a sustainable way. Our creations are totally handcrafted and they reflect our passion for quality, style and beauty.

What inspires you?

Tired of conventional materials, leather and eco-leather, I started to study and research on a natural and alive material, such as wood.  The inspiration comes from the observation of Voronoj models, the fascinating geometric diagrams that remind the Aztec patterns.
