Caruso D’angeli signs for Offiseria, a new designers’ network, the collection Aria, a versatile shelves system, that create a light and geometric dynamism.
OFFISERIA looks like a bridge between the primordial concept of Industrial Design and the more recent phenomenon of Design Art. Design does not mean only creating objects, it is much more: design means creating stories and solutions to be lived within a single object.
OFFISERIA, together with its pool of designer, wants to meet this challenge: tame the passions with the use of evolved technology and convey the concept of “ uniqueness “ typical of a limited edition.
A short description of your collection.
Aria is a collection of shelves made out of metal sheet. Simple and funcional products that can be hung with two simple wall plug. The folded shape conveys a visual dinamism.
What inspires you?
We had the idea of light pages, folded and raised by the wind, then crystalized in a wall origami.
Your style in three words.
Narrative, human, passionate.
Detail makes a difference... What’s yours?
The respect for materials, objects, people.
Which object do you wish to design?
If your brand was a song?
I would talk about expressions, as fusion between emotions and knowledge. So, Sigur Ros, with the song “Varuo”, could be my projects expression.
