Colé Italia

Colé is a young Italian design brand, characterized by high-end production 100% made in Italy. The brand was founded by Matteo De Ponti, an architect, who grew up in one of the most important families of Milanese design, and by Laura Macagno Maldonado, of Argentine origin, graduated in Economics and passionate about art and design.

The careful expressive research guides the design of pieces that aspire to become icons of design, beautiful and comfortable pieces, made taking care of the production quality and enhancing the artisanal and semi-industrial productions of the Italian territory.

The sources of inspiration range from Italian design of the 1950s to Scandinavian design, from the Modern Movement to ethnic craftsmanship, to create unique pieces, born from the contamination between different materials and cultures, pieces that can last over time and furnish homes of international and sophisticated clients.

In 2020 Colé Italia obtained the precious recognition Premio Giovani Imprese (Young Enterprises Award) - Believing in the Future for the Design category, awarded by Fondazione Altagamma, which gathers High-End Italian Cultural and Creative Companies, recognized globally as authentic ambassadors of Italian style.
