KAROLINA BEDNORZ

Karolina Bednorz is a Polish ceramics designer who lives and works in Modena. She graduated from the Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw specializing in "Ceramic Art and Design" and has undergone a scholarship program at the Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistich in Faenza.

Her works have been shown at Italian and Europian exhibitions; they express contemporary solutions shaped into the ceramic material, combining the knowledge of artisan tradition and a modern spirit.

Tactile minimal objects to give an extra value to your daily life.

What inspires you?

Calm moments when I am alone and tender moments with my close ones. I want to capture those moments in ceramic material, make them more important and durable in memory with help of sense of touch and vision.

Each piece I sign with my personal signature - it gives an authentic touch of my hand work and moment of creation to each ceramics.

Which object do you wish to design?

I have two wishes: an enormous centerpiece and an impressive lamp!

If your brand was a song?

Very difficult question! Music is always present when I create and there are many amazing pieces. I love the deepnest, fun and the story in “Late Night Tales: Agnes Obel”.
