The Italian architect and designer Alba Gallizia launched the Brand Algares, a new project that wants to give a modern expression to old materials and techniques. Starting from manufacturing processes, Algares try to create a symbiosis of craft and design, especially intriguing international people tastes.

The jewellery collection is the first step of this project, focused on enhancing traditional materials and artisans' expertise. These jewels give character and light to the shapes of the human body and fit perfectly to women and men.

On Debou we present the bronze series and the leather & silver/bronze series.

A short description of your collection.

The claim “old materials, modern design” explains the sense of my project that embraces jewels and, in the future, other categories. I want to produce daily objects, jewels, women and men accessories, design products …, starting from the artisanal techniques, which are gradually disappearing. 

What inspires you?

The world of objects surrounding me, old products still functional. When I work on a new project, I begin studying artists, designers on whom I created my inspirational mood board.
