Description

Versante is part of La Casa di Pietra, a project curated by GUMdesign and made by Italian factories and craftsmen; a design project reinterpreting in a contemporary way and with sophisticated materials the traditional serveware.

Versante reinterprets the wicker wine bottle. It is composed of a hand blown crystal cruet which lays on a shaped basin made of Ivory marble of Segesta. The inner side of marble is polished, the outer side is carved looking as the traditional straw covering basket.

Precious materials, functional shapes and craftsmanship to intensify wine organoleptic properties. Crystal transparency allows one to appreciate all the different ranges in any color of wine. Marble basin, kept in the freezer before serving, helps wine maintain fresh temperature during the entire meal.

Versante is available in three sizes: S (0,5 liter), M (1 liter) and L (1,5 liter).
The collection is produced by CusenzaMarmi + Vilca (2015).
